City & Guilds Award to Boost Business

SMEs in manufacturing will benefit from an industry initiative that will not only reduce risks a work but boost business. City & Guilds has developed an exclusive award in Manufacturing Working Practices, supported by Proskills. Together they have negotiated a favourable discount with insurance specialists Premierline Direct for SMEs whose workforce successfully completes the award. By putting employees through the training programme, firms are eligible for a substantially reduced business insurance premium. The Level Two certificate in Manufacturing Working Practices has been designed to apply to all manufacturing firms to gain an understanding of vital areas such as health and safety and responsible environmental control.
