Barrie is the founder and major shareholder of Premierline Direct. A lifetime insurance entrepreneur, he has created and managed financial services operations in both the UK and overseas. Prior to creating Premierline Direct, Barrie founded and became Chief Executive of Prospero Direct, the very successful direct motor and home subsidiary of Provincial Insurance, which later became AXA Direct. Barrie has also been a non-Executive Director of Marks & Spencer Money since 2000 and now represents HSBC. He is also a recognised international authority on financial services direct marketing, regularly presenting at major conferences on all five continents.
