Launched in January 2002 as the UK's first direct operation focused solely on business insurance, Premierline Direct is now the most advanced direct commercial insurance operation in the UK.

Premierline Direct is a subsidiary of Allianz Insurance plc - One of the UK's largest insurers and part of the global Allianz Group.

Direct model

The Premierline Direct concept provides the business community with the direct relationship and service standards previously only enjoyed by personal lines customers: quotes and policies can be completed within a fifteen minute telephone conversation; or you can also choose to get your quote online by answering a few simple questions about your business, either way you can have your quote within minutes. Quotes and policies are dispatched the same day; and no form filling is required as all calls and online quote details are recorded for peace of mind.

Commercial insurance specialists

We currently have over 150 staff operating from our centralised base in Lancaster and our entire workforce is solely focused on commercial insurance, including a large team of highly experienced Commercial Underwriters.

We offer a range of bespoke package products to a wide range of sectors including: retailers, pubs, restaurants, offices, contractors, hotels, manufacturers, wholesalers, property owners, motor traders and commercial vans. Additional products continue to be added to the range.

Our products are primarily underwritten by Allianz. However, we utilise our own sophisticated underwriting rules and pricing model to provide highly competitive premiums that are exclusive to our customers.
