A serviced office can provide a "better solution" than long-term options for small firms looking for a base, according to one expert.
James Welch, managing direct of Choregus, explained that the flexibility of serviced offices means that growing firms can expand when they need to.
Companies can start with a space designed for two or three people and then assess their needed in future.
"The office can be planned around you as you grow, so it would definitely be the better option," he says.
Larger firms are also beginning to realise the benefits of serviced offices, Mr Welch stated.
He pointed to Google News which he claims have been making use of such office space across the UK and Europe due to the short notice they need to give before moving in.
According to research by Forbes magazine, the West End of London is the most expensive place for office space in the world.
