Renault has launched its National Van Week, beginning today, to encourage potential van insurance customers to purchase before the end of the month.
The carmaker originally intended the event to run for a week, from January 16th, but has since extended this to run until January 31st.
It is giving van insurance customers the chance to see the new Kangoo range, with Renault offering three free options with the vehicle, including the air conditioning pack, 12 months of road tax or a TomTom navigation system.
This time of year is tipped as key for the carmaker, as it is shortly before the financial year end, when van insurance customers assess their budgets.
Offers for the vans are available on the Kangoo Compact, Kangoo Van, Trafic, Master and Passenger vehicles.
A media campaign is accompanying the week, with direct marketing to businesses and advertising spots on radio.
It was recently found that sales of new vans and truck have dropped in the last year with overall registrations dropping by 10.7 per cent.
