A Bolton pub landlord has been reinstated following a legal battle over the smoking ban, according to the Bolton News.
Earlier this week the Morning Advertiser had reported that the former landlord of the Swan and the Barristers pubs in Bolton was losing his fight to remain in charge and had been replaced as the licence holder.
Mr Hogan is to appear before magistrates after refusing to obey the smoking ban and it had been argued that this could affect the terms of his lease.
He has since told the Bolton News: "I'm delighted and this just shows that I haven't done anything wrong. I thought I was going to be out of here on September 21, but I'm still here on September 27 because I'm an honourable, decent businessman."
It was previously reported that Darren Miller, local rival and owner of the Flying Flute in Bradshawgate, would take ownership of the pubs on September 21st.
