Arsonists who burned down a fast food outlet in Loughborough have been caught on CCTV cameras, business insurance seekers may be interested to hear.

Men were seen lighting fuel outside the Loughborough University's Purple Onion in an attack at approximately 20:30 GMT on Sunday November 9th, This Is Leicestershire reports.

The article did not reveal whether the attack will have an effect on the store's commercial property insurance, but it appears possible, particularly seeing as the same venue was targeted by arsonists just a month before this latest incident.

Purple Onion may not be the only place to suffer an impact on its business insurance either, with a convenience store located next door.

SourceSecurity.com reported in 2006 that a public housing complex in Denmark saved approximately 600,000 crowns (£68,000) in business insurance and other cover costs when it managed to solve its arson problem.

"It is a concern that someone keeps setting it on fire," commented John Bernstein, finance spokesman for the Loughborough student union.

"We are hopeful the police will find something this time."ADNFCR-873-ID-18897672-ADNFCR
