Previously-unseen photographs of Hollywood starlet Jayne Mansfield pulling a pint in a country pub in 1958 have been unearthed by the landlord of the establishment.
The Telegraph reported that Steve Frain made the discovery when he was doing renovation work at the Deer's Hut pub in Liphook, Hants.
It is thought the actress - who was in Britain filming a thriller titled To Catch A Thief in the US and The Challenge in the UK - was invited behind the bar by Bert Oram, the landlord at the time.
The actress was photographed pulling a pint and again outside with co-star Anthony Quayle, as well as a friendly retriever from a nearby farm called Gaspard.
Mr Frain commented that the images were "among a whole heap of black and white pictures we found when we were redecorating".
He added that the prints have now been framed and put up inside the pub.
Earlier this year, research carried out for the Morning Advertiser by the Essential Information Group found that some 81 pub insurance holders had put their establishments up for auction in the north-west of England last year.
The average selling price of all UK pubs auctioned off in 2009 was £369,939.
