Demand for office insurance could increase in the months ahead, as the office market is said to be "bouncing back" after the recession.
According to Richard Kauntze, chief executive of the British Council for Offices, the London market in particular is performing well at the moment.
He acknowledged that the economy is still "in a fragile state" at the moment, but insisted that demand for office space is increasing.
"I think we will see that continue to strengthen and grow over the next month and year," he remarked.
"London's future as a global financial capital is strong and healthy, which implies no reason for complacency, but it has a critical mass which is hard to see in other cities on the planet."
Last week, a report by the Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors revealed further modest improvement in the London commercial property market.
A balance of 19 per cent more surveyors said they expect new sales and lettings to increase in the next three months, up from 14 per cent in the previous three months.
