Who are Premierline Direct?
Having already insured over 30,000 businesses, and growing at a
rapid rate, Premierline Direct has established itself as one of

Policies are primarily underwritten by Allianz Insurance plc who
are part of the global Allianz group, one of the world's largest
financial service providers, with over 60 million clients in over
70 countries, with global reach and local expertise; a reputation
for customer service has always been a trademark to the Allianz
group.
Where are you based?
Our single, centralized operation is located in Lancaster and we
provide insurance services to mainland Britain
How long will it take to get a quotation?
If you call us for a quotation, we can usually give you a price
in about 10-15 minutes. Just call 0800 083 2060. Alternatively, you
can use our online quotation facility - simply fill in all your
risk details and we will call you back at a time to suit you with
your quotation.
How soon can you give me cover?
We can, in most circumstances, provide immediate cover, while
you're on the phone.
What will you need to know?
Try to have your existing insurance schedule and renewal notice
available as this will give us the majority of the information that
we will need. However, if you are a new business, don't worry - our
business insurance team will be able to guide you through the
quotation.
How soon will I get my policy documents?
Your policy documents will be sent out as soon as you have taken
out your cover and you will normally receive them within 5
working days.
Will my premium go up if I make a claim?
Not necessarily as each case is treated on its own merits.
How long is my quote valid for?
Premierline Direct quotes are valid for 60 days, with the
exception of quotes for landlords and the motor trade, which are
valid for 30 days.
What will happen once I have completed the on-line quotation
form?
Once you have completed the on-line quotation form, your details
will be sent through to one of our insurance team who will call you
to give you a price. It may be necessary to ask you some additional
questions at this stage to ensure you have the right cover - this
may also help us to give you a more competitive quotation.

Can you cover my trade?
At Premierline Direct we cover a wide range of businesses. It is
not possible to list all the businesses we cover. To confirm that

What will I be covered for?
All our policies cover the relevant business sectors for key
requirements - you can find more information about the cover we
provide by referring to the relevant product category on the main
navigation bar.
Also, from as little as £75 per year (plus Insurance
Premium Tax) you can also subscribe to Premierline Directs's
Commercial Legal Protection Service - a special service designed to
give expert advice on areas such as law, taxation, employment
disputes, property protection and injuries. Premium will vary
dependant on business requirements
How much No Claims Discount (NCD) do you allow?
Up to 6 years NCD can be earned on Commercial Vans and No Claims
Discount protection is also available.
If my van is off the road after an accident, can I have a
courtesy vehicle?
Yes - providing you use one of the approved repairers, you will
receive a courtesy vehicle - subject to availability and terms
& conditions.
Will my tools be insured in my van?
Tools are usually covered under a property policy e.g.
contractors' tools or goods in transit - and not Commercial Van
insurance.
Premierline Direct policies (like most other policies) do not
give cover for tools left loaded overnight, unless the vehicle is
garaged.
Do you cover trailers?
Yes - but to have the same cover as your vehicle, trailers must
be specified.

How do I pay for my policy?
Premierline Direct offers a range of payment options:

Guidance
Can you give me any guidance regarding intruder alarms?
We recommend the use of a contractor who is a member of the
National Advisory Council on Security Systems (NACOSS), National
Security Inspectorate (NSI) or the Security Systems and Alarms
Inspection Board (SSAIB). In some cases an alarm will be a
requirement of the cover and this will be explained in more detail
with each quotation given.
Can you give me any guidance regarding locks and other security
protections?
Premierline Direct has requirements for minimum standards of
security, which are explained with each quotation given.
Can Premierline Direct give me any help if I have any
employment or legal problems?
All Premierline Direct policies give access to free legal
helpline - 0845 330 1180.
If you opt to take out the legal expenses insurance as well,
then this will cover you and your business in connection with a
range of legal matters including employment and contractual
disputes.
