TV chef Gordon Ramsay has revealed plans to expand his current pub business with ten new ventures, it has emerged.
According to industry newspaper the Publican, Mr Ramsay said he has already bought two more pubs which will open before the end of the year.
The two new premises are the Warrington in Maida Vale and the Devonshire House in Chiswick, and the famously foul-mouthed gourmet chef said at a recent press conference that he has no plans to stop there.
"After the Warrington and the Devonshire, we're looking at ten more pubs during 2008," he said.
He added that the focus of the pubs had always been to provide high quality food at a good price and that his experiences of running pubs so far had "been a real eye-opener".
Earlier today it was reported that Mr Ramsay had been rushed to hospital recently after burning himself below the waist.
Online news website 24dash.com revealed that the chef had been standing too close to an oven when he sustained the injury.
"I'm in absolutely agony. You wouldn't believe how much this hurts," he said.
